I hope to accomplish the following:
- Create a subcommittee to design the marathon of reading portion of our program. This group would have two weeks to come up with a larger organizational program to help reward kids who want to read beyond the one book requirement.
- Figure out what we're going to do about the choices students have for the mandatory book. Are we limiting choices? Are going to insert a public domain book? What are we going to do?

*i would like to keep the current events component for 11th grade as well as double-entry journal which means exiting 10th gr would need the know how (mine already do and my 11th gr are quite good at it joel if you want them to for you)
*An essay test would be fine for assessment--they can use their journals to cite.
*i will try and do some film research
* for 11th gr we kind of had a memoir theme going to keep if possible or cheryl they could read some of tose first unit online articles and have a blog forum and those as summer reading (the o'brien, verlaan, etc.)
*will write again with more ideas--brian will speak on my behalf at meeting with some concerns :)
